Borrow My Vintage is an event rental + design company based in Eastern Iowa specializing in vintage + modern furniture and event decor rentals. Our collection features soft seating, lounge package, buffets, tabletop + small wares, backdrops, rugs and custom built items for our clients! We are constantly updating our inventory, so be sure to check back often!

Yes, we only book rentals once a client has both the date and venue booked. We want to make sure all the big things are booked before booking us because if you change your date we do require a new contract + retainer.

Yes, there is a $200.00 rental minimum on customer pick up orders and $500 rental minimum on delivery orders for local. We do have a higher minimum if you are outside of the 2 hour local delivery.

Our rental includes a 4 day rental window! So you can pick up a couple days before your event (on applicable items). For example if you have a Saturday event you can pick up starting at 8am Thursday and everything must be returned by Monday 5pm.

Due to the vintage nature of some of our items, we do require certain items to be delivered by our team only.

If something breaks please still bring it back to us. The damage fee is 5x the rental value. Damages include, but are not limited to: candle wax, cigarette or cigar smell, spills, water damage, chips, cracks, and tears.

We hope your event goes smoothly and truly is the best day ever for you. But since we live in the Midwest and weather can be very unpredictable, we want you to have a backup for an outdoor ceremony and/or reception. Backup rain plan must be established prior to the date of the event for all rental items. Our items are not allowed in bad weather and damage/salvage fee will apply.

We love creating one of a kind custom pieces for any event. We do need 6 months lead time (depending on the item).

Yes! We actually prefer to deliver your rental items. We are used to transporting vintage furniture and know how to handle them during setup. Plus that is one more thing you don't need to worry about! We do have a minimum order of $500 for delivery.
All large furniture and backdrop pieces include setup. For setup services of small wares, please inquire!

We know plans change and things happen. You can cancel your order at any point but our 50% retainer is non-refundable & your entire balance is non-refundable 14 days out from your event date.

Yes. We offer will-call orders on any small items. We do require a $200 minimum order on any pickups. Pick ups + drop offs are made by appointment only. Please get in touch if you are interested in picking up your items.
